By accessing or using Event Grid ("the Service"), operated by Gridkawa ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Your continued use of Event Grid after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Event Grid is a course and event management platform that provides tools for managing courses, student enrollments, quizzes, attendance tracking, certificates, feedback collection, payment processing, and reporting. The Service is cloud-hosted (SaaS), managed by Gridkawa, and accessible via eg.gridkawa.com.
The Service supports multiple user roles including Administrators, Course Managers, Instructors, and Students, each with role-based access controls governing their permissions within the platform.
To use Event Grid, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
We support authentication via standard email/password, passwordless login, two-factor authentication (2FA), and SAML 2.0 single sign-on (SSO) integration with identity providers such as Azure AD, Okta, and Google Workspace.
Enterprise customers may operate multiple tenants within a single deployment. Each tenant administrator is responsible for managing user accounts, roles, and configurations within their tenant. Gridkawa is not responsible for actions taken by tenant administrators.
Event Grid is offered under the following subscription tiers:
Annual billing is available at a 20% discount. All plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
If you use Event Grid's built-in payment processing feature (via Square integration) to collect fees from students, you are responsible for compliance with applicable payment card industry standards and local regulations. Gridkawa acts solely as a technology provider and is not a party to transactions between you and your students.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Event Grid stores data that you and your users provide, including:
We implement industry-standard security measures including password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), session management, rate limiting, and role-based access controls. Two-factor authentication and SAML SSO are available for enhanced security.
Enterprise customers can configure data retention policies within the platform. Audit logs are retained for 365 days by default; application logs are retained for 30 days. Upon account termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy. You may request data export in CSV, Excel, PDF, or Word formats prior to deletion.
You retain ownership of all data you upload to or create within Event Grid. Gridkawa does not claim ownership of your content and will not access, use, or share your data except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.
The Service, including its source code, design, features, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Gridkawa and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We strive to maintain high availability for our cloud-hosted Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
Enterprise customers with custom SLAs are governed by the specific availability commitments outlined in their service agreement.
We are not liable for service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at support@gridkawa.com. Upon cancellation:
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
